Okay this is a sort of extremely random and spontaneous post, but whatever. I have been experimenting with "cloning myself", sound weird? Well it makes for great pictures:
Oh yeah, and this weekend I made a shirt (that I'm wearing in all these photos), that basically explains me :).
 |
| Trees are just so interesting! |
 |
| It took me a while to get a nice shot of me on that stupid tree. |
 |
| I just can't stop looking at myself! |
Okay so you might be sitting at your computer saying,"why am I talking to myself". Or you might be saying,"how do I do this?" Either way, if you keep scrolling you'll learn.
First take pictures, moving around in a different spot for every picture. *IMPORTANT*- Keep the camera in the same exact place/position (tripods are useful here). Try not to overlap yourself (never thought I would ever say that) but instead be spaced out. Like such: (they are a little out of order)

| About medium (2) |
 |
| LARGE! |
 |
Small, so small.
|
Anyways, upload all these onto photoshop. Put them all on one canvas, or you could just duplicate all the pictures onto one photo (whatever works best).
 |
| Sorry this picture is really small, but it doesn't show anything too important. |
 |
| I duplicated them all to one picture. |
So to make them all show, you have to delete the parts that block what you want to see. First make sure your layers list looks something like this, if it has all your pictures then your good to go:
Now click on your top layer. And delete everything around it (with the Rectangular Marquee Tool) IT doesn't have to be perfect but should look a little like this:
All my other layers are turned off but when I turn the next on, it reveals my subject, to look like this:
Now, take your second picture and delete everything around it:
Now it looks like this when I turn the other layers on:
And there ya go! I love this effect so much, and now you can use it too! Also today in the woods I took these amazing photos *amazing faces too.

| Why am I so angry? |
Now go do some jump shots or something, then be happy, have a glass of orange juice or I don't know maybe even some girl scout cookies! I don't know what you eat but please send me pictures of your results! :)
How cool! haha I am definitely going to try this! Thanks for the tutotrial.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a really cool idea! All I could think about when reading this is "what am I going to take a picture off to do this?"
