DIY CHUNKY CROCHET BRACELET AND HEADBAND

In this tutorial I will show you how to make a really cool crochet headband and bracelet. You only need to know one stitch ...chaining.

It is so basic and easy anyone can do it! You will be making this headband:

And this bracelet:

You can buy small soft rope or chunky yarn at any craft store and usually, at least the rope, is cheap. For a bracelet, start by creating a loop:

Tighten it to your hook:

I am using a big hook, I don't know what size it is, but it was the biggest hook I could find so the biggest hook you have will work. Now chain 9 since I am a guy and I am not making this to wear I chained more than you might have to. Just chain it until it is just a little smaller than your wrist.

Now cut off and finish. The next step is optional:

 It is to add rings, I used them to hide the knot that you're about to make and I would recommend it.

Put them some where that won't get in the way of you tying it. Now you can knot the ends together in a basic tie to create a loop.

Move the rings down to hide the ugly part:

Now it is done and ready to wear. You should have the pretty braided side showing like this:

Repeat the steps to make the headband. It might not be comfortable to have the metal rings on your head so I left the knot on the back. To find the right size it is best through trial and error, because everyone is different:)

I think these turned out pretty cool, and it is better than braiding because it is more elastic. Thanks to the head up above.. it is fake if you can't tell. Thanks to my viewers and followers too :),
